Kickass Torrent lives again, this time as KAT.am. The website has been reportedly been reincarnated by the website's original staffers and it also contains the complete KAT database and the user account data the hosting information is well behind Cloudflare.


The website was seized earlier this year, Artem Vaulin was arrested in Poland and the domains of the website were seized but the website however never died entirely thanks to clone websites.

Now kickass torrent is back again. Pirate websites coming back from the dead is not a surprise for us. The Pirate Bay did so in the past it's now running well with the original .org domain.

The team pointed that they now come under a similar takedown procedure as YouTube which means that kickass Torrents won't store copyrighted material on the website.

No matter how many times the security agencies and the copyright holders will try to put a bar on the pirate realm. It looks like it will come again and again. Just like it has done so far.
